Artiach is one of Europe’s oldest biscuit companies, with more than a century of history. Its origins date back to 1907, when the Artiach family opened its first workshop in Bilbao.
In those initial years, production was carried out in a small shop on García Salazar Street. In 1921, Artiach relocated its factory to the Ribera de Deusto, an area key to Bilbao’s industrial development. There it became a model company in the biscuit sector, with modern facilities and a mostly-female workforce.
Our entrepreneurial spirit has always led us in search of new recipes, bringing out unique flavours that have sweetened family occasions and become icons handed down through generations.
Since our beginnings, we have invested in innovation to surprise and make each biscuit special.
Today we are still on that path, combining tradition and technology to keep offering unique products.
The key to our success has always been the same: carefully-selected ingredients and the know-how of our master biscuit makers.
With every biscuit that we bake, we seek to express our enthusiasm and excitement of turning an everyday moment into something extraordinary.
At Artiach, we honour our commitment to keep offering the very best, generation after generation.
We make biscuits that have earned a special place in everyone’s memory. Artinata, Chiquilín, Dinosaurus, Filipinos, Marbú and Princesa are just a few of the name brands that make up the Artiach universe.
Each biscuit has its own personality, history and unmistakable flavour, and has become part of the daily lives of millions. They don’t just represent products, but also cherished memories and an emotional bond with those who choose us from day to day.
